ENVIRONMENTAL
RESPONSIBILITY

You can rest assured that the wood we use is all renewable and comes from natural resources. We would never use fossil resources which are not regenerated and create harmful waste for our planet.

We are always committed to nature.

POPLAR

With about 40 varieties of trees, the genus “Populus” which translates as people’s tree, belongs to mild and cold northern zones.

Commonly known as poplar, it is one of the three species with the highest CO2 absorption. It produces an average of 20-25 tons ha/year, returning a large amount of oxygen to the atmosphere.

Poplar is an ideal wood for food product containers because it is odorless and tasteless. Along with those qualities, it is also a very clean and white wood.

Furthermore, this sustainably planted wood is attractive due to its ability for rapid growth. This means that wherever our poplars are found, you will find clean and purified water.

In short, products derived from poplar are large carbon dioxide collectors: Between 625-700 kg of CO2 per m3 of finished board.

PINE TREE

Pine is a much better option to cut wood, as pine is naturally and locally grown on sustainable plantations in Spain and France.

Pine is also a very high absorber of CO2, which contributes to its benefits.

Also, forestry practices are heavily regulated in order to support sustainable management. Like poplar, pine is an excellent wood due to its high capacity as a renewable resource.

All of the above is supported by all our FSC and PEFC certificates. Through these certifications, we guarantee that the wood used in our products comes from sustainable forestry that abide by all the rules and regulations that are in place.

In addition, the GROW seal guarantees the responsible recycling of our wood products.
